SH2-84 (Sharpless 84 )

This small but somewhat brighter nebula is a nice object for those that have larger telescopes. The brighter nebula in the middle is SH2-84 which is surrounded by a nice amount of nebulosity for those that have a nice wide field of few. With a larger telescope you may pick up some more structure. The region responds very well to the hydrogen alpha filter but picks up weak using standard RGB filters. I did not pick up anything with the oxygen III in a 15 minute exposure but a larger telescope may have better luck.
