SH2-63 (Sharpless 63 )

This object does not do well at all with any of the narrowband filters, so I would not waste any time using H-Alpha on this one. The object reacts very well to all of the color filters; I would say that red and blue do best. A nice long, clear filter image does a very good job as a luminance image. This object is placed in the far eastern side of Sagittarius, so it is a nice object to close out imaging the summer southern sky in early October. You need a lot of color data to get really strong color in this one, unlike a normal LRGB which uses shorter color exposures.
