SH2-59 (Sharpless 59 ) This nebula sits in the heart of the Milky Way and is surrounded by a number of other objects including SH2-60. This rich nebula picks up very well using a hydrogen-alpha filter and makes a great HA-RGB color image. There is some nice structure in this nebula that a large telescope can pick up but a wider field of view is a better choice for this object because there is a lot that can be picked up in the surrounding area.
