SH2-276 (Barnard's Loop )

This very large object which is also known as Barnard’s loop is best captured with the hydrogen-alpha file. It has extensive structure and detail that offers any size telescope something to capture. To capture the entire loop, I had to take a four image mosaic, but if you have a larger format camera and a wide field of view telescope, you might do the mosaic with only two images. There are some interesting areas where a large telescope can pick up nice structure. As you can see in this image, the Orion and Horsehead nebulae are not far away.
