SH2-206 (Sharpless 206 )

This bright nebula also goes by NGC 1491 does very well with any of the normal color filters and makes a great LRGB image. Using a wider field of view you can also pick up other surround nebula since this part of the sky is fairly rich with it. A large telescope can focus more on the bright part which should display some nice fine structure. Using hydrogen-alpha filter brings out the strong contrast and makes for a nice HA-RGB filter. I have not tried using the other narrowband filters OIII and SII to make a nice color narrowband image, but I suspect the brighter area should do ok on this.
