SH2-157 (Sharpless 157 )

Sharpless 157 is a fairly small nebula which shows up in this image upper left area where the brightest part is located. The nebula is bright enough to be imaged with wideband filters so a normal LRGB image is easy to do. If you end up using narrowband filters, this object responds to each of them fairly well. The image displayed on the site shows you the nebula you can pick up in addition to SH2-257. Since this entire area is also near the famous Bubble Nebula, a wider field of view can also pick up both the Bubble Nebula and Sh2-161 which is just barely seem in the upper right corner.
