SH2-140 (Sharpless 140 )

This Sharpless object resembles SH2-296 known as the Seagull Nebula but quite a bit smaller. The nebula responds very well to the hydrogen-alpha filter with the strongest part along a very thin line that larger telescope can focus on to pick up the fine detail. There is also a nice reflection that picks up very well so think object makes a great LRGB color image. I believe with larger telescopes, you will pick up more reflection nebula than seen here and the mix with the emission should make for a very beautiful image.
